God is good all the time, all the time God is good. This was the enduring phrase of our rollercoaster of a wedding week that we repeated at least ten times a day. If you know anything about the previous traveling adventures of Thomas and I, you know that there is always a story. ALWAYS.
The week of our wedding started out calm and blissful. All the details were completely planned and ready and it was time to sit back and enjoy ourselves…or so we thought.
Wednesday rolled around and this was the day we decided to get our marriage license, the day when all the craziness began. I was off work for the rest of the week and Thomas was taking a break from work to meet me there. I was so giddy and excited but I could tell Thomas seemed stressed (which I assumed was work related). We were finishing up with our license when he finally tells me the root of all his worries. He had just found out about an hour before that some countries require your passport to be good TWO months AFTER you return from your vacation. This stood true for our destination to Antigua as well and Thomas’ passport was to expire in April 2015 (our wedding was Mach 7, 2015…you do the math). CUE THE PANIC.
