This past Saturday we got to reveal what our sweet bundle of joy is going to be! It was soooo fun to have our families together and share in the excitement of a baby BOY!!! It was a day full of love, joy, and laughs!!!
Confession: Thomas and I found out the sex of the baby almost a month ago (because I am impatient and wanted to know so bad) sooo we had to keep a big secret from our family and friends for what seemed like forever. I am super impressed with our ability to keep it a secret and not tell anyone (well, except for all the random people on the street that Thomas shared the news with because he was so excited haha). But seriously, I am usually one of those people that tells you your Christmas present before you even open it so to say I am SHOCKED I kept this secret for so long is an understatement. I don’t know what that says about me that I have gotten better at lying though but maybe that means I am going to make the best Santa Clause, Bunny Rabbit, and Tooth Fairy for our sweet boy!
Here are some pictures of our little Gender Reveal party and if you scroll down long enough you will stumble on the video of the reveal that is sure to give you some goooooooood laughs!
We have been nicknaming our baby "Lil Bambino" since we found out I was pregnant. Bambino means ‘baby’ in Italian and since most of you know I am Italian and have been obsessed with all things Italian since our trip to Italy, it was only fitting for it to be our sweet baby’s nickname.
These yummy Confetti Chocolate Chip Cookies are going to be on the blog next so get ready for some yumminess to be shared!
To go along with the Italian theme we had these fun little boards on each side of the table. Bambolina means “pretty girl” and Bella Caruso means “handsome boy” in Italian. So excited to meet our little Bella Caruso in a little over 4 months!!!
My gang. I love all these people sooooo much. Obviously most everyone was thinking it was going to be a girl and I tried to throw everyone off by holding up some lips.
We have 4 of the cutest nieces on my side of the family so it was so exciting to share that we finally will have the first nephew and grandson!!! Our poor little boy needs to prepare to play all the dress up and be forced to get his makeup done by the girls.
Thomas and I had cannons that we ordered off Etsy and then I bought these smaller poppers that don’t make as much of a bang from Party City that I passed out to everyone else. I had practiced with both the cannon and the popper in the backyard of our house to make sure I knew how they worked before the big day but apparently that didn’t help much. See the video below for what I mean....and why my parents are still looking down at their poppers and everyone is delayed in their response. TWO WORDS: POPPER FAIL!
Meet PeePaw, MiMi, Nana, and Poppie! Baby Boy Crawford sure is lucky to get spoiled and loved on by these four!!
We are so excited to meet our baby BOY!
Bring on allllll the boy mom advice....
*Shoutout to our awesome neighbor, Justin for coming over and taking all the pics for us!*
